The United Synagogue is the largest synagogue movement in Europe. Founded in 1870 today it comprises 62 local communities supported by a central office.
The United Synagogue is the spiritual home for around 30,000 families belonging to over 60 local shul communities. These communities are there for everyone, young and old, to come together and celebrate authentic, contemporary Judaism in a warm and welcoming environment. The United Synagogue supports its communities and members through the social and education initiatives of US Living & Learning, youth activities from Tribe and Young US, and the care projects of US Chesed along with the support services provided by US Burial, the Kashrut Division and The London Beth Din.
