Newark Care

Newark Care is a charity providing residential and nursing care to the frail and elderly through our two care homes in Glasgow – we have been doing this for over 65 years. We care for the Jewish Community from throughout Scotland and the north of England and offer the very highest standard of care to our residents.

Without our charitable donations and legacies we would be unable to undertake the capital projects that are required each year to ensure that we continue to provide an excellent standard of care that benefits our residents and their families.

This past year we received a very generous legacy which we decided to put towards upgrading our grounds. Our rear courtyard needed freshened up and made more accessible for our residents. We were able to make the space more welcoming and enjoyable for our residents in close consultation with them and their families about what they would like to see. The space is now fresher, more pleasant and inviting and gives the residents greater choice about where they spend their time on those all too rare nice days in Glasgow
