JW3 has a vision for British Jewry to be a proud, vibrant, unified community, that is both inspired by and engaged with Jewish arts, culture, learning and life; and with a high quality, variety and volume of Jewish conversation. We aim to transform the Jewish landscape in London.
Since opening the doors to the public, JW3 has welcomed 200,000-220,000 visitors each year. We pride ourselves on the ability to be inclusive across all backgrounds, regardless of affiliation, belief, gender, race, or religion.
JW3 is a home for all: we have a ground-breaking vocational and educational programme, Gateways, transforming the lives of young orthodox students, who have become alienated from education, family, and who may have experienced additional difficulties. We have an impressive dedicated enrichment programme for Holocaust survivors and refugees, providing an extraordinary programme for both those able to access the many specific events held at JW3 and elsewhere and up to 2700 who receive details of our Holocaust enrichment programme. We are vital to sustaining a rich and varied programme of activities and events for many thousands of our visitors who come to JW3, to make and sustain friendships, and avoid the loneliness and isolation that can become part of later life. We welcome young families and older visitors to dedicated Friday night and festival celebrations, providing a home-from-home.
JW3 is at the forefront of engaging the next generation in a variety of ways: we have dedicated youth programmes and youth training and leadership programmes, we host 100 young Jewish adults at regular Friday night dinners, and other exciting and well-attended events, to promote engagement, and providing a vital link to their Jewish culture, heritage and religious practice.
JW3 is the only dedicated Jewish arts and cultural centre in the UK. We need to be here for future generations, and by leaving a gift in your Will to JW3, no matter how big, or how small, you will be helping to ensure that our commitment to preserving Jewish identity, culture and heritage, providing a Jewish home-from-home for all, and inspiring and connecting the next generation is secured.
