Jewish Care Scotland cares for the Jewish Community in Scotland, providing social care services and more.
Jewish Care Scotland exists to support the Jewish community in Scotland. Our aim is to give a helping hand when life has become hard.
Alongside our long-running Day Care centre we provide a wide range of services for the Jewish community, from a Kosher foodbank, to support with mental health issues, helping refugees integrate into our community and everything in between.
JCS began in 1858 with a group of volunteers eager to help and has grown into a professional charity that provides innovative, individual care. At the heart of everything we do is a respect for Jewish culture and beliefs; we will be sensitive to your needs, as well as your family or carer.
Our main office and Day Centre is based in Giffnock, Glasgow but don’t forget we are here to help all the Scottish Jewish community. We work in partnership with East Renfrewshire Council and many other community organisations to provide our services. We also have a team of dedicated, friendly volunteers with a wealth of experience that enables us to provide such an extensive range of services.
Whether you need one off support or long standing care, Jewish Care Scotland will help you take back control of your life.”
