The Board of Deputies of British Jews exists to promote and defend the religious rights and civil liberties of British Jewry. As the community’s democratically elected cross-communal organisation, the Board connects with government, media and wider society, providing a unique means through which all British Jews can be heard and represented.
Our organisation, which is over 250 years old, consists of 280 Deputies elected by communal organisations to protect the rights and freedoms of the 300,000 members of the UK Jewish community, and to work with wider society to foster tolerance and understanding.
We need your support to enable the Board of Deputies to continue our ground breaking work in areas including educating non-Jews about Jewish customs, representing the Jewish community on interfaith matters, and lobbying Parliament and local authorities to ensure Jewish traditions and rights are fully understood and applied.
By remembering the Board in your will, you will be making a direct contribution to securing a brighter Jewish future in Britain for the WHOLE community. Your gift of a legacy to us, your act of tzedakah, will indeed be your legacy.
Thank you for your support.
